    Awesome 80's movie

    Pretty in Pink is a great 80's movie with lots of heart, laughs, memorable characters. Highly recommended. Fun fact: Originally they wanted her to get together with Duckie (Jon Cryer) but test audiences wanted her to get together with Blane instead in a "love conquers all" effect. Also she was attracted to Andrew Mccarthy at the time (Blane).

    The 80s AAHHHHHH!

    Ok, I saw this movie when I was a teen. Now,I'm 38 and saw it a second time. LOVED IT ALL OVER AGAIN! Come on...it's a John Hughes movie! If you're the type who loved Sixteen Candles and Breakfast Club as much as I did...and still do, then get ready! John Hughes just knows kids! The man is ASTONISHING! The actors were so young that it was GREAT to see them age like I have:) Anyway, Molly Ringwald is terrific as usual and Annie Potts was hysterical. It's a good plot and it helps us to understand what kids go through (which is a lot like we adult do) and how one dose NOT have to fall for someone in the same circle. I love that Duckie is such a great friend that he let's her go. These actors were just so young and full of life and better than I ...

    Great characters and actors do a great job !!

    I watched this movie when it first came out. And I still watch it off and on. It is a nice little story about a girl who falls for a guy from the rich side of town. Very entertaining.
