    It works, but my expectations were a lot higher for the price tag

    It is expensive for the amount of noise reduction you will experience. I use it to hunt, so any noise reduction is beneficial, but I thought when I bought it that it was a pretty expensive solution, and I still think that. It is not some magic device, it is simply a second muffler attached to the first muffler that provides more restriction. As for performance, you will notice a flattening of the noise levels. Much the way a suppressor does not silence a rifle, but flattens the sound so that it doesn't carry as far. At an idle, there is an almost imperceptible difference. At higher speeds, there is a more noticeable difference. If you are in front of the machine when it is moving, it is pretty quiet. Once it passes you, it is quieter, but not that much so.
