Briggs & Stratton 26hp piston ring set
I have installed them on the pistons according to instructions. The instructions are clear and very easy to follow. It did not appear that these are not inferior in any way. So far I am very pleased with this part. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about getting a non- original set of rings packaged in a OEM package. They were a bit pricey and I did not want to spend this amount. My Briggs & Stratton 26hp is previously owned and it seems like it was not taken care of on a regular maintained schedule of oil changes. Then again it is an 07' model engine. OIL CONTROL RING WAS BROKEN, RINGS WERE TOO LARGE. COMPRESSION RINGS WERE TOO WIDE AND WOULD NOT FULLY SEAT INTO PISTON, COULD NOT INSTALL INTO CYLINDER.
