    Great CD in great condition

    I have always enjoyed listening to all types of music. I listen to Spanish the most but the reason I like this CD is b/c it is in both English and Spanish. I admire singers like Shakira for that reason alone. It is so great hearing a song in English and Spanish. This CD backdates to 2005 which is 5 years ago but the CD works great. I will definetly continue to bid on CD's to increas my CD collection.

    Why so melancholy?

    I was really excited to hear this album now that Shakira was back singing in her native tongue ("Laundry Service" was a disservice to Shakira's unique style and the english language), and as much as I want to like it, I find myself disappointed time and time again. Maybe my expectations were set poorly by the first single off this album, the hard-hitting and sensual "Tortura", her very successful collaboration with Alejandro Sanz. But with the exception of "Las de la intuicion", which is a mediocre attempt at a techno-esque club anthem, the rest of the album simply lacks the passion and raw emotion that made Shakira what she is today. I haven't given up on Shakira yet - maybe she just phoned it in on this one (and the upcoming english version) and will come back strong on the next album. ...

    One of her best in Latin.

    I liked her Spanish albums, and although her English albums may be excellent also, I prefer artists using their original language, and I like girl singers in languages in other than English. I was hoping this would be an authentic sounding, lively and creative other-than-English-recording, and I was very pleased. I think that it is as good as Shakira's 'Donde Esten' CD, and it was just what I was looking for, so I rate it very high. This is great Latin-pop.

    the desaster

    this production from Shakira was made only because a compromise with hers music company. Every single song sounds like Shakira wrote with the stomac then with hers hearth

    fijacion oral vol.1

    i really enjoy shakira singing. i wanted to collect all her cds. this one i didnt have and now i do. her voice brings out the many songs she sings. this cd shows her nature talent. i enjoy it alot.
