    The replacement cord for my 1951(?) portable Singer fit better than original! The connector is durable rubber rather than brittle Bakelite and fits nice and snug. I only had to cut the wires for the control box and solder the 2 terminals on. The package has several options for different machines. This is much better than original, where wires were just wrapped around the terminals. Everything was well-packed and arrived very quickly. An A++ seller!
