    Love this movie

    Now I can watch this movie whenever I want to and I love that. Great picture quality and I love the people in this movie including Ethel Merman, Donald O'Connor, Johnny Ray, Mitzi Gaynor, and the incomparable Marilyn Monroe. I also saw George Chakiris (Bernardo in West Side Story) in this movie as a dancer.

    Hollwood Entertainment at its Best !!!

    They certainly do not make movies like this anymore. Marilyn Monroe at her "Best" with "Heat Wave". A movie the whole family can enjoy for years to come. If like musicals, you will love this movie.

    Marilyn Monroe's talent shines bright!

    I bought this DVD because I love musicals and Irving Berlin's music is wonderful! This DVD showcases so much talent in one Movie it is almost insane. Marilyn Monroe's talent is showcased so well. She really is the triple threat, she acts, sings, and dances beautifully. Anyone who loves musicals, Irving berlin songs, and Marilyn Monroe all in one film this DVD is for you! Everyone should have this DVD in their musical collection or classic movies!

    The film highlights Marilyn’s excellent singing & dancing.

    Marilyn was not enthusiastic about this film and only did it to fulfill her contract obligation to 20th Century-Fox. In spite of that, her performance is very entertaining highlighting her excellent singing voice and dancing skills! The rest of the cast are excellent!

    This would have been better without the songs. Berlin is boring. Daily and O'Connor were great - especially dancing. The only reason it is advertised as part of The Marilyn Monroe Collection is that she was in it. She is not the main character. It's just an effort to exploit her name and so sell a movie.
