Horse The Band-A Natural Death
Horse The Band marks a point in their development where the songs became more focused,the songwriting became more streamlined and they still managed to branch out while trimming the fat. The whole album is like a roller coaster ride from front to back. And as soon as it's over you want to get back on. The albums starts off heavy and hit you hard with Hyperborea and Murder,the former about surviving wolves and winter and trusting in steel,the latter a song about a real Brave who extracted revenge for the murder of his family rampaging across the west. Then gets quirky with New York City and Sex Raptor,kinky then happy with His Purple Majesty and Kangarooster Meadows and ends abrubtly and heavily with the crushing I Think We Are Both Suffering from the Same Crushing Metaphysical Crisis and ... Great CD
This is a great cd. It has metal with a hint of atari sounding keyboards. I've loved this band for about three years so far. I've seen them twice and they are still awesome. Try them out you won't regret them. Unless you don't like metal then forget about it.
