  • Great content, but expect the international ed. to be poor paper quality.

    I got this book for cheap, so as with all international edition textbooks, the quality will be cheap. If you're planning on keeping the book for reference than I wouldn't recommend it. The pages fell off from the spine rather easily, and just a little tug will do it. Now, if you wanted a book for just the semester than it might be a good deal for the price. The textbook is identical with the U.S. edition and has great coverage on the topics at large. The material content is rich, but it might not have been a good choice for me to purchase the international edition, and would have paid extra for a better quality. So, the bottom line is conditional.

    Everything you need to know about instrumental analysis is in this book. Well organize, highly structure and easy to follow. Each chapter has it own independent in-depth discussion about a topic or instrument and need not to master previous chapters to understand it, same is true for each section within the chapter. If it is too difficult to comprehend, I suggest skip it in part or in whole and then come back for it at later time. It is designed that way! Choose by most colleges and is currently being used to provide undergraduate and graduate students the skill needed in their professional career. Not riddle with too many math or fancy equations that might daze the reader just by looking, nor does it showers with colorful pictures or charts that makes the knowledge trivial. ...

    I bought this book for my instrumental analytical course. The product was not hardcovered but that was listed when it was bought. The cover picture was different than the one shown but the content is the same. Overall it was great deal for the book.

    The online support for the book has not been finished. The images are not in color but appear to have good detail. The problems are challenging and goes along with the information in the book. The book is also an easy read.
