    Constantly Disconnects from External Hard Drives on Mac Pro.

    Nice dual 2.5/3.5" HD unit with both eSata and USB inputs. I bought this for high speed eSata connection, since the USB side is type 2 which is quite slow. Brand new , right out of the box, it consistently dropped connection to my drives on eSata the eSata PCI bus for no apparent reason I could see. It was much worse when coming out of deep sleep. In checking Google, this is a major problem for the unit, especially on Macs. Mine was a Mac Pro 5,1 with a dependable eSata card. This dual unit was to replace two older single drive enclosures that never had one disconnect issue. Maybe it'll work better on a Windows OS with the proper drivers, but I would avoid if you're planning on using it on a Mac Pro. Don't waste your time and money!

    Worked Great!

    Had a drive fail and wouldnt load windows. But with this i was able to load windows from a different drive and restore with this. Very well worth the money, plus its nice to have 2 more drives attached to the PC. Great buy
