They started crack8ng and tearing possibly due to cheap material, heat and humidity and sweat. Most headphones I've tried have the exact problem. Skullcandy, Koss, Bose, Sony, Beats, Sennheiser. Haven't had problems with AKG, Stax, Beyer, Meze, Hifiman, Audeze, Rosson, Santana, JBL.
