- 5***4 (1091)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseI use these over traditional butt crimp connectors so the car stereo can be more easily removed and tranasplanted into the second vehicle. It does require a proprietary crimping tool. These nylon connectors tend to get brittle (and crack/break) in extreme cold winters so use with care. These .93 series connectors are not intended for high power, high current use. I believe 5 amps is the limit. High power car stereos can exceed this limit.

I called CQ Radio Supply and it turns out, the original manufacturer was sold to a different company decades ago. These are now all imported. Nothing I or CQ Radio Supply can do about that. I appreciate that Chuck was completely honest about the item and even offered to take it back and issue a refund. Because of our conversation, I have decided to keep the item.
