Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Politik - Internationale Politik - Thema: Europaische Union, Note: 1,0, Universitat Passau, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, moeglichst objektiv und dem wissenschaftlichen Anspruch gerecht werdend den Erfolg der ENP am Landerbeispiel Tunesiens zu evaluieren. Um eine angemessene Bearbeitung des Forschungsgegenstandes zu ermoeglichen und um den wissenschaftlichen Charakter zu bewahren, beschrankt sich diese Arbeit bewusst auf den zeitlichen Rahmen ab der Einfuhrung der ENP im Jahre 2004 bis zum Ausbruch der Jasminrevolution in Tunesien. Als signifikantes Indiz fur die demokratischen Bewegungen in den Staaten Nordafrikas gelten die Proteste und Demonstrationen im arabischen Raum, die ihre finale Gestalt in Form des Arabischen Fruhlings angenommen hatten. Diese Erfahrung teilten viele arabische Staaten; insbesondere Tunesien. Der richtungsweisende Ausloeser fur den Ausbruch der landesweiten Protestbewegungen in Tunesien und fur die Flucht des bis dato amtierenden Prasidenten Zine El Abidine Ben Ali am 11. Januar 2011 war die Selbstverbrennung eines jungen Gemusehandlers am 17. Dezember 2010. Der Arabische Fruhling fuhrte in Tunesien de facto zu massiven innenpolitischen Umwalzungen und gleichermassen zu einem Umdenken in der ENP. Aus diesem Grunde beschrankt sich die Analyse der vorliegenden Arbeit bis einschliesslich auf das Jahr 2010.
