Easy install, fit well, smooth operation
Installed on older 8hp Briggs-Stratton. Slightly different pulley design, but fit OK and works as well as the original. Had to remove first try and put a little more tension on the rewind spring, so it took two spring hand windings/insertions, but it was still a 15 minute job. Helpful hint, Only lift up one of the two bendable metal retainers, & slide pulley out/in. The unbent tab will be a helpful holder while re-installing.Installed on older 8hp Briggs-Stratton. Quality Lacking
The quality of the pulley was lacking. It was warped at different spots resulting in the rope not being able to be rewound in those spots. I used a flat piece of metal and a heat gun to correct the problem but should not have had to do so.
