  • Only For the Dedicated Highlander Fan (Who Has to Have Everything).

    Okay. Definitely not the best Highlander movie ever made. But given the movie was so bad the Producers recut the film and remade it as The Renegade Version, which would go on to become the Standard version on Home Video, this is perhaps the rarest version. This is the Theatrical original release from 1988 that deviated from the Mythos of the first film. To try and produce a more mainstream hit, the Company agents had them add a sci-fi plot twist, the Immortals were aliens from the planet Zeist. Everybody hated it. So, if you have never seen the original release and really want to see how messed up everything got, or you have to have one of everything to complete your Highlander collection- the good, the bad and the ugly, this is of interest.
