Must-Have Upgrade for HP Notebooks
This is a WLAN or WiFi adapter card for a laptop PC or a desktop PC. It fits into a mini PCIe socket, and will work in most HP notebooks made after 2013-2014 that aren't whitelisted by HP. If your laptop is made after 2014, this will be a drop-in upgrade. It only works with Intel-based platforms. It won't work with AMD machines. This is a dual band wireless ac WiFi card, 1x1. It runs on 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, and supports ac. This is a must-have upgrade for any HP notebook or desktop that came with a standard wireless 'N' WiFi adapter. I bought a dual-band ac WiFi router with my cable internet, but had issues with slow speeds, bad connections, poor reception on the 2.4 GHz, so I dropped this card in my HP Envy 17t to replace the Realtek single band card.
