Product Information

Nick and his girlfriend Sammy's innocent, LSD-tinged trip to an abandoned sanitarium takes a turn for the worse when Sammy takes a seat in a strange chair and Nick witnesses her jarring mutilation before she's dragged into the shadows by terrifying, mysterious creatures. The drug-addled Nick's story only lands him in a mental institution for nearly five years until, finally, a renowned professor and his students take the supposedly unstable criminal back to the old sanitarium in an attempt to uncover the truth. But not everything is as it seems in this grisly, ghoulish opus very much in the literate-horror tradition of HELLRAISER. THE DEVIL'S CHAIR comes from Adam Mason and Simon Boyles, makers of the celebrated BROKEN.

    Riveting and hardcore, The Devils Chair delves deep inside the twisted mind a psychopathic killer, or perhaps could he be possessed by the Devil Himself? The way in which this story unfolds you have Nick West (Andrew Howard) tell his horrifying tale in a almost delusional state, where he explains that his girlfriend was mutilated in a mysterious chair in an old abandoned mental asylum, and then dragged away into an unforseen demonic otherworld, as he tells his story to the police he is incarcerated, deemed clinically insane by the judge, then locked away in a mental hospital! Four years pass Nick is introduced to a psychology professor and his students where the professor asked Nick to return with him back to the crime scene to find the truth behind the terrifying mystery! Blood-drenched ...

    Great Psychological Thriller

    The movie was unusual for the British film genre. Good to see the U.K. can make good psychological thrillers as much as Japan can. Some scenes make your skin crawl, and other scenes make you cringe when you see what they do in The Devil's Chair. Bloody and Brutal.

    Mind Boggling!

    I love how the movie is just so mind boggling. Like you may think that one thing is happening. Next thing you know, its a total different out come. I reconmend this movie to people who love a twisted movie with a spectacular ending.

    (Very Bloody ) The Devils Chair

    If you like a lot of blood this is the movie for you. The man is a total nut case. The acting was pretty good and the sound was great.
