    This cpu still kicks butt in april 2018.

    It's not the top of the stack anymore by far but it's still a great performer. Most games make use of the gpu more than the cpu anyway, newer faster cpus do speed up gameplay but the bulk of the experience is from the gpu. That said, this cpu will still keep pace with the newest cards and gamers and it has some decent OC headroom too.

    Fantastic CPU for it's age

    The CPU is working well and I even overclocked it to 3.9 ghz on liquid cooling and it stays below 60c. I got it paired with a GTX 980ti and can even do 4k gaming with reasonable performance. I recommend this cpu if you want to extend the life of your gaming PC.

    Haswell FTW!

    These old dudes are still great for gaming, especially if you can manage to clock it up to 4.6GHz and keep it cool. These chips are rock solid. Faster and more reliable than AMD by a long shot, of course that's just my biased opinion.

    Great used CPU and works like a charm. I'm able to OC this to 4.6 ghz at 75 degrees on water cooler. The packaging was very simple, yet very safe with bubble envelope and static-free packaging. Thanks for posting a good product on Ebay and keeping these good used products out of a landfill.
