  • Yikes... it's just the sort of delicious cinema I enjoy. WATCH it and LOL

90 minutes Okay, so its subtitled, from Swedish. But what a great enchanting crazy wonderful demented film. Yes, it's weird, but in a good way. This devote believer is faced with the devil reincarnated into a just released criminal. One is set out to convert the other... and finding out who the winner is ... the film and Yikes... it's just the sort of delicious cinema I enjoy. Felt like a French film. Watch it... it's fecking hilarious and witty, with that Noir flare. Loved it. God bless 'em. • Adam in Eden

Adam's Apples is the first movie that my husband, my 24-year-old son and I sat through together and we that could agree was in the top ten range of movies. Actually, we watched it when it was on the Sundance channel and I neglected to record it on tivo, so I bought the dvd to share with friends. The characters are interesting because they seem so common yet they're each a little quirky and odd. The skinhead, Adam and the doctor are especially good. As the film progresses, more is revealed about the characters and each begins to have surprising effects on the others. The cimeatography is excellent. The acting is excellent. Granted you must read the English captions to understand the dialog, but that is a small price to pay for watching this film.

  • Adam's Apples

Fantastic dark comedy set in a small Church complex in the hills of Denmark. Meant as a re-hab center for convicted prisoners on their last leg of their sentence, the resident priest has each "inmate" set a goal before leaving. The new inmate is a nazi-loving tough guy who sets his goal to bake a pie. Many sub plots of a woman expecting, an alcoholic, a terrrorist, the priest and his revealed past, and the coroner, it blends to a bizarre twist that all works out terrific and surprising in the end. A rare treat.

  • Adam's Apples was a dessert for the Mind

The acting was exceptional, the subtitles were helpful since it was in Swedish, and the story line was very absorbing.

  • Fantastic Movie about Good VS Evil!

Shocking, tragic, violent, yet sweet and absolutely hilarious-this is one fantastic film. Danish with English subtitles, it is definitely one that will make you into a foreign film buff! Mads Mikkelsen is a great leading man-you will fall in love with him, and Ulrich Thomsen is the best villian I've seen in years. Such a feel good film!
