Received package in 3 days which is fast from Miami to Colorado. Installation was easy. Even without installation instructions. Marked hoses and electrical connections with a Sharpie. Hoses marked 1 to 1, 2 to 2 etc. Electrical connections A to A, B to B etc. Once you do that, it's plug and play. Works fine so far. A bit more noise than original valves, but not much more. Even though the bracket was different, there was still room for fitment. So far, I'm happy with how everything went.

Not OEM but it is a high quality product that works
This part is not OEM ( OEM is made by FSP) but it works the same. I had to do a slight modification to my fridge's water tubes. The original part had screw on compression nuts but the replacement has just a John Guest type connector. One connector did leak but I found that I had to cut a little piece off the tubing to make sure it was leak free. Best thing to do is mark all of the tubes with a sharpee marker before you take anything apat. I labelled mine as 1,2, and 3 to make sure you get them hooked up in the right place on the replacement part. This part is not OEM ( OEM is made by FSP) but it works the same. It fits after redoing lines for compatibility. Is loud original was quiet Color coding is wrong for electrical connections. Hooked up backwards at first. Instead of water from dispenser it turned on water to ice maker!

Dont change any hoses on the unit,,,,,
This product worked perfectly on my Sears side by side fridge. Has extension hoses on fittings which fit the old hoses. Don't be tempted to change any of the extension hoses as they will plug into your existing hoses with the right solenoid orientation, Only gave 4 stars because there is no instructions whatsoever included. It takes a while before ice starts producing.

No flow restrictor on icemaker valve - too much pressure/water overfills tray water all over
I bought this for my whirlpool fridge. Had to cut off the hoses at the connectors to use the sharkbites. That went OK. When the icemaker called for water it spewed out all over at the icemaker inlet and then overfilled the tray. water all over the freezer. I tried to turn down the timer on the icemaker but it didn't resolve the problem. They sent me a new one that had the same problem. It appears that it is missing a flow restrictor on the icemaker valve to limit the water flow. I bought a flow regulator to put in line with the icemaker and it is now working Reverse Osmosis 1/4" Hose RO Water Flow Adjust Valve Regulator Waterflow Control Valve Connector Fitting Water Speed Controller I bought this for my whirlpool fridge. Had to cut off the hoses at the connectors to use the sharkbites. That went OK.
