  • Typical Space Marine story in graphic novel format

This is a standard Space Marine story about a couple of Blood Angels and a Callidus Assassin dealing with a Nurgle cult. As you can probably tell from that last sentence, it requires a fair amount of setting knowledge, as due to the graphic novel format the author, David Pugh, can't spend a lot of time explaining things. The story is also not Blood Angel-specific, in that the Marines could be pretty much any chapter. The black and white art is effective in telling the story and highly detailed, in the style I associate with 2000AD and British sci-fi comics generally. Basically, if you're a Warhammer 40K fan looking for entertainment this is perfectly fine, but not worth seeking out.

  • Graphic Novel--Tactics

Actually this book was kind of a let down!!Story line was average and delivery is weak. Have defintely seen better material. Spend your money on another Warhammer 40k graphic novel, there are much better one's out there!!
