About this product

Product Information

It is 2017 and the dangers found in .hack//G.U.: Vol. 3 Redemption are filtering out of the game. The evil entity terrorizing players in "The World" is free and wreaking havoc in real-life. Players once again take the role of Haseo, a young adventurer who is the only hope for restoring peace in "The World."

Gamers lead Haseo through many recognizable environments and into such new root towns as Breg Epona and the Net Slum. The steam bike makes a return and players can now upgrade their bikes and speed through five riding missions. Toward the end of the game, players may access a 100 floor dungeon and work through each level with their most powerful party members.

Haseo has earned a few upgrades via a mysterious hacker who broke into his account and added a new set of powers. These powers, called the "Xth" form, allow Haseo to use a pair of pistols with blades on the barrel. With these weapons Haseo can deal greater damage and perform a "double trigger" attack by invoking a special ability.

The level cap is increased to 150, and gamers can add up to 22 additional avatars to their party. In the heat of battle, if players find themselves at the losing end, they can access the "avatar awakening" power and drain the virus cores from the enemy. Additionally, there are new cards for the "Crimson Versus" game and a new arena battle.

Best game series on the ps2

The voice acting, the story, the character, The World, and gameplay are so compelling. The post game content is really good too. Definitely pick up if you can or the remaster on ps4 or ps3. As for the case, disc, and Manuel, they’re in mint condition. No water damage, creases, and so on.

  • The finale to a massive story line.

You can wiki .hack (dot hack) and see for yourself, but this game is a small part of a larger .hack story where people play online games and get trapped inside the game. This particular game Vol.3 Redemption is the third and final volume for the game series. I personally enjoyed the game a lot with its good story line, incredible graphics and actions, and above average character systems. The makers of the game paid a lot of attention to making the game feel like an online game with other players by 1) allowing trades with other players, 2) blogs and chats with other players, 3) email correspondence, 4) sometimes online, sometimes offline status, etc. I would say definitely try out the game from Vol.1. Each game is not as lengthy as other RPG games, so it goes by pretty quickly. A few ...

  • A Good Game for rpg fans

The game is fairly well made and makes improvements to the slower-paced combat of the first 4 .hack games. It is slightly repetitive, but it has a very good storyline, and a variety of side quests that can be completed after the story is finished. I loved the first 4 .hack games and decided to play the GU trilogy after hearing of its release. Give this game a chance, regardless of what some reviews may say. Some games with bad reviews are actually pretty fun.

  • Last of a dying breed

/start log Expect a long post TL;DR you been warned. This is one of those games your either going to dislike or like from the beginning. The .Hack Franchise has been one of my favorite role playing games for the PS2. The story line from the old series and new series can be very in dept when it comes to characters and the way you play. There is times where I play these games and think what happens if it became in real life. Imagine playing an massive multiplayer online game where if you die you become a "lost one." A lost one is someone who goes into a comma for an extended period of time never waking up, never sensing anything dwindled into a universe of nothingness waiting to awaken. In the game its called "doll syndrome". Each game is easily 20 - 40 hours long depending if you do ...

  • Amazing game

The third and final installment of the .hack G.U. series is the best yet this was the first .hack game I ever bought. The boss fights are addictive and you can replay any avatar battles from all the other games you finally ride the world of Aida but neither Shino or Alkaid return from a coma. Also a new video series is included called .hack//4coma which spoofs the series, the final installment of online Jack, and the sixth episode of .hack//roots. The final boss is my favorite villein from the series Cubia. you first fight four easy avatar battles then one hard battle the fight replicas of your party that copy your moves. after that you fight the real Cubia he has three cores and plenty of killer attacks and Gomorrah. But if you've never played .hack you should buy the first to games and ...
