Update 10-29-17. Had all 4 sensors replaced when I had my tires changed. After installation I had a low tire pressure alarm. I tried using my Ford programming tool but did not respond and wouldn’t train. Took the truck to discount tire and they used their TPMS tool and they trained fine. Not sure why my tool wouldn’t work but I was able to get them programmed for free at discount tire. It was a bit of a headache but now they function properly and most importantly no more light on the dash! Hope this helps someone. Item arrived very quickly. Sensors actually say fomoco on them and look to be an new oem part. I am waiting to install them when I get new tires soon. Thanks for the great value!! Update 10-29-17. Don’t expect these to work
Three worked one failed within a week of use. Will not connect not my transmitter because it works flawlessly with my oem tire and wheel. These are low quality and will stop working fast and better off buying oem and spending the money then to have to bring the wheels back in and pay more money to have new ones installed DO NOT BUY THESE you’ll be putting new tpms sensors in within a month if you do.Three worked one failed within a week of use. Excellent and affordable parts
When you install these on your vehicle you most likely will need to train them to communicate with your vehicles computer by using the Ford TPMS-19. My 2012 required this. It is not a fault in the TPMS, it is just the nature of my vehicle. The lowering the pressure method will now work when I rotate my tires to a new position. But, from the factory these new units do not yet know to communicate with my vehicle so the TPMS-19 is required. The battery in a TPMS is only good for so many years and then you must replace the TPMS. Normal routine for a vehicle. These units were easy to install once I get the bead on my tire to break. Sensors came without programming instructions and training to mother system. No site was given for assistance and no customer service info was noted. Have resorted to Google to obtain information on the training. Not pleased with this situation.
