    Increased passmark rating from 302.6 to 454.6 over an Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz.

    The inexpensive Pentium T4500 processor plugged right into the socket to replace an Intel Celeron 900 2.2Ghz processor in my Compaq CQ56-219WM laptop computer--Windows 7 64-bit. I was sure to scrape off the old thermal paste (with my fingernail) from the heat sink and put on new paste before tightening the heat sink down onto the T4500 processor. I can't tell if there is any increase of heat produced, but it's insignificant of any. The increase in performance is noticeable and worth the effort, if you dare to take apart the whole laptop including dismounting the flip screen to get to the motherboard. The ribbon cable tighteners have to be carefully flipped up to unplug the ribbon cables as well as carefully unplugging a couple of other small wires to dismount and flip over the motherboard ...

    Nice bump in speed.

    I bought this to replace the single core celeron processor in my Presario CQ56. It made a big difference in speed and performance. It's an 7 year old laptop but its great for browsing the web and watching you tube and it's even better now. I only wish I had this processor 7 years ago!!

    Nice midsize dual core

    Ordered this to put in an older Compaq laptop. It's the fastest for this model and showed a real increase in speed from the Celeron 900 that was in it. Very satisfied.
