Pioneer Champion Series!
Started this audio build as a budget build. Running pioneer 2 way 6x9's in the rear. Pioneer 2 way 6.5 components in the doors all wired to a precision power 1,200 watt 4 channel. Decided to continue on my build by adding the precision power 1,200 monoblock and this pioneer dual 4 ohm subwoofer and the experience is exceptional! Chest pounding lows I have only felt with higher end systems I have built in the past. I only use pioneer head units because of their quality. I can honestly say that pioneer has impressed me with their component and subwoofer lines over the last few years. Good job pioneer and I will definitely be working with more pioneer systems in the future! On a side note make sure you have a good box for this subwoofer. Best Sub ive had for the price!
Ive owned dozens of subs in the last 20 years, everything from boss to sundown and a few hertz. This sub by far surpasses all of them for value and output. If you want low bass 24 to 35hz it will do it. You want hard hitting bass at 45hz plus, it will do that too. This sub will hit any note you want with little distortion. I can easily put 325 watts steady to this sub without it losing quality. Ive even thrown 550 to it, that is the max it will handle for a very short period with out distorting. It is rated at 1400 watts max, however I would not recommend that. What makes this sub so great is the fact it can put out so much sound at low wattage. At 150 watts rms this sub putts out more bass than all my other subs, sundown, alpine, kicker or a jl. If you run two of these in a bandpass @ ... I put the speaker in the back seat of my truck in a labyrinth style 12 inch box hooked up to a JL Audio JX 250/1 monoblock amplifier.. I have both voice coils wired together so I'm running at 2 ohms. The speaker sounds absolutely amazing and hits them real deep lows no problem and it's higher-end bass is tight.. you really can't go wrong with this sub
