    A Must Have

    When thinking about the B-52's, a lot of people only remember their CD, Cosmic Thing, and forget about this self-titled gem. The first thing that I'd say, is that any album or compilation that contains Rock Lobster is worth listening to. This album offers so much more than that, though! It's rougher and edgier than their other efforts, and harkens back to their days playing clubs and other small venues. I love it, and can't recommend it highly enough. But it; you won't be disappointed!

    1979 - this is epic! How could they be as current w/ songs written in the 70s? Crazy days... get this album and learn to dance! Shimmy, Shimmy, Hippy forward, shimmy shake!

    B-52's are the greatest band out of Athens GA.

    Loved the album when it first came out... seeing the CD version up for auction, at a reasonable price, made me want to bid on it. I am glad that I did and wone. It's funny how a song you haven't heard in years can quickly send in a rush of memories. That is what this cd has done.
