        Best blender money can buy. Preprogrammed settings are an added plus! Set-it-and-forget-it settings allow you to attend to other tasks around the kitchen while the Vitamix 6500 does its job and shuts down after it is done. From 1-minute smoothies to piping hot soup created in five minutes and heated only from blade velocity, there are three preprogrammed modes which include Smoothie, Frozen Dessert, and Hot Soup modes, besides the traditional ascending scale speed dial with pulse setting. A 2 hp motor and scientifically designed blades create a vortex that ensure nothing is left unpulverized and unblended. With a host of special container and blade combinations Vitamix ensures that the 6500 gives you the platform you need to create the blends you want.

        Impressive, no regrets!

        Makes amazing smoothies in less than a minute. Clean up is just as fast. Impressive. No regrets for my first time purchase of a Vitamix. The larger canister does not do small volumes as well so I will be purchasing an additional one for small jobs.

        Fabulous blender

        This vitamix works so well, it makes my previous blender look like a toy. It chops and purées anything I put in it. The tamper is helpful, but not needed most of the time. The recipe book is full of great ideas. The manual is easy to understand. My cupboards are about an inch too low for me to put it under, so mine sits on a counter near my sink, which is handy for me. I'm very happy with this purchase.

        A FANTISTIC Blender.

        This blender is WONDERFUL. We have had many blenders over the years, but this is by far the best blender ever. It has lots of power, love that the cutting edges are NOT razor sharp, much safer when cleaning, the container stays on the base when in use, the top does not fly off when in use, etc, etc. It is just a great blender, with no problems or short comings.

        Love this machine!!!!

        I love this vitamix, I use it a lot and have made smoothies, drinks and soup. I love the powerful motor and it is so easy to use and cleans up easy and quickly. I like the pre-set buttons and you can walk away and the machine does it's thing. It really fits under my cabinets and sits beautifully on my counter.
