Double boxed and extra padded as requested (to protect vintage radio circuit boards from handling damage (I could write a book). Radio looked better than the ad. Batteries were included and I ran the scanner radio through a host of critical tests (my *bay purchased manual arrived same day) and the radio performed with flying colors. Super transaction.

The item arrived as it looked in the photos. Unfortunately it did not function properly due to a basically dead battery. Not a big deal but an annoyance when the item is advertised as in proper working condition. Other then that small complaint it was a good purchasing experience.
