    For the most part pretty good. Also fun.

    I liked the way that even though the book sounds at first like it's going to be saccharine-sweet, it shows some of the real-life problems that are apt to come up when someone from one culture becomes a mentor to someone of another culture, even if the cultures are somewhat related.
