    The Campy part I needed at a 'reasonable' price as described

    I needed one of these to finish a rebuild of a vintage Schwinn Paramount I had. I actually had a couple of the parts already, but it was easier, and less expensive, to buy this complete BB than to find the individual missing parts. The BB was in excellent shape except for the lock ring (those regularly get messed up because people don't have the correct tools to loosen/tighten them). Fortunately, having previously owned a bike shop, I have a couple NOS lock rings. For 'Is it a good value?' - I say YES, because they are so hard to find quickly. I'm sure there are lots of them out there in old bike shops stuffed away in a box in the back. So, if you're willing to spend time hunting through old (higher-end) bike shops, you can probably find one at a lower price. I wanted one in a few weeks, ...
