    Too bright for my needs but works well

    As the title states, they work just fine. I was using these for my light bars, rear lights, etc. If you’re mounting switches on your dashboard, near your steering wheel like I was I may recommend you steer clear of these. They are utterly blinding in the dark. I pulled them out and flipped them over so “On” would be with the switch pointing down in a futile attempt to get the switches to quit blinding me. And it was futile indeed. Then I put a layer of black nail polish over the diode to try and smoke it out some: no joy. Still too bright. They’ve been replaced with some rocker switches I found elsewhere. That being said, I did keep these in my tool box as I’m sure I’ll have a project better suited for these things.
