    Point and shoot with viewfinder

    This is my new favorite camera - here are its best features in order: 1) HAS AN OPTICAL VIEWFINDER 2) Easy grip for one handed pictures 3) Decent size screen 4) 8.1 megapixels - easy enlarging to 16x20, at least 5) 3.6 optical zoom It is so hard to find optical viewfinders in point and shoot cameras - now seem to be found only in big SLRs. Heavy and bulky for just carrying around. Taking pictures on sunny days can be very hard when the screen is impossible to see. Love the bumped out grip - really easy to hold camera. 3.6 optical isn't the greatest, but the high pixel count and digital zoom make up for it..... This camera probably was several hundred dollars new - getting it used is a great deal.

    Great cmaera for real estate

    This camera has a very wide angle lens, great for photgraphing inside properties for real estate. It's not the lightest and smallest camera around, but it's easy to grip and aim with one hand and uses AA batteries and SD card that are available anywhere, no charger needed. Also has viewfinder, for situations where the viewing screen is not convenient or for those who prefer this more traditional way of using a camera.

    exelent !!!

    Nikon, the P50, one of the best compact that has come on the market for me, the beginning of the series P, wide angle, excellent flash, perfect focus, what I like most is the image quality either by car or manual, the photos will come out perfect, outstanding colors, maybe something else would have been excellent zoom, something I like and I'm also quite autonomy are the use of AA batteries that are of great economic and gives them to the market you can find at the corner store, really very complcido with the camera, one of the best compact that have occurred to date.

    Great little camera

    I had one just like it before and broke the screen on the back (blew off my car in a wind gust while setting it up for a shot)....was so happy to have the viewfinder. Worked w/ it that way for 3 yrs. and then the shutter stopped working. Found the same one for less than half the cost of my first one and it's been great! Easy to pack, easy to use, I like the way it fits into my hand.

    One of the best Coolpix ever made!

    These cameras are bargains oh ebay! This is a good purchase If you don’t want your DSLR getting ruined on the beach! Very good image quality from this little gem!
