      OEM is best

      I had ordered a replacement fuel valve for my 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 that was not an OEM Yamaha part. There were several websites that showed the same valve for less money than the Yamaha part, but the fuel outlet was pictured on the wrong side of the valve. Other than that, it was the identical valve. Fortunately I was able to cancel my original order after I noticed the difference and place a different order for the OEM part. There are some sites that only show the "Yamaha" label and not the actual part. In contacting those vendors, they didn't/wouldn't provide a photo of the actual valve, so I took a chance and ordered it anyway. It was the correct valve.
