    Excellent product

    Easy to install, takes 45 min. Works well. Its surprising how long it takes for gas to travel through about 18 inches of pilot tube. The spark runs continuously for 20-30 seconds if the unit has been off for a bit or if it cycles slowly.

    Every thing that you need

    Comes complete with everything that is needed. Easy to mount the control circuit with two sided tape. The ignition electrode may be hard to mount. I just used the old one. You may not have that option if you are converting to a hot surface ignition type. It took about 1/2 hour to install and check out.

    Wind blowing out pilot lite on mobile home gas furnace

    Should have thought about this sooner, I am a HVAC service Tech, My neighbor has had this problem of wind always blowing out his pilot lite on windy days, I installed this new electronic spark ignitor on his mobile home gas fired furnace, he is totally happy with it . No more cold nights or mornings ...this furnace is about 30yrs old ..
