    Good book for modeling

    I model 28mm sci fi, but still found many useful tips in this book. It is OOP, so prices can vary. It is a magazine style book, had nice pictures and some detailed info around scratch building, painting, modeling, and the craft in general. Beginners or experienced modelers will find it interesting. It's focus is military. The sections on making sure scale is accurate were particularly interesting for me. Its a little dated, but a cool read.

    Great value

    Great companion book to Sheperd Paine's other volume on constructing dioramas.Instructions are easy to follow. The chapters use an increasing level of difficulty. There are lots of helpful illustrations and photos.

    DOESENT GET ANY BETTER !

    Mr Paine once again shows why he is a master model builder. This book is an outstanding reference for the beginner or experienced builder. The many hints and pointers that are given will only make your model building experience that much more enjoyable. A fine read from cover to cover, and an timeless reference for years to come. KH.
