Well worth the money
These Haynes manuals are a great resource for doing repairs on vehicles. I've used them for my cars over the years and have saved me a lot of money. This manual was listed as used but came in almost pristine condition. Very satisfied.

Very helpful, but you still be a little "lost in the woods"
Not nearly as good as a Factory Service manual. Some of the page references were inaccurate. For torque specs you're referred to another page, rather than having them listed on the same page. The diagrams/pictures were too close to tell where they were located. A picture of a sensor 6 inches away does not show me where it is located.

Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely ... EVERYONE should have a Haynes manual for EVERY car
The only reason I don't rate it perfect is because I have 99 Yukon which is a variation of the base model which has some special things that are not completely addressed. That said, Haynes manuals are AWESOME and a MUST HAVE for anyone who wants to do a job right!!! I HIGHLY recommend that EVERYONE have one for EVERY car. One of the greatest products EVER!
