Good package if you are a fan
I had to have the Target exclusive version. If you were a big fan of Rogue One this gives you all possible formats - Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3D, and DVD. There is also a Target Exclusive bonus disc and packaging. This is the best format to own the movie in if you were a big fan. If you just want the movie you could opt for a cheaper movie-only option, but this is a nice package.

Good movie, not worth buying the 3D version
I have this movie in 4K, but I am a 3D fanatic so, when I saw that it was also made in that format I purchased the set. Alot of extra money for the set.....but.....I like the movie and I especially like the way it dovetails into A NEW HOPE. The 3D version was very disappointing in that there were sooo many opportunities for in your face 3D but the movie maker decided to ignore them all.

This Target Box set was very nice. It is a good value for ~$30 (but not $40) My only complaint is that the extras disks have little background / Star Wars mythology or upcoming teasers. The Extras are mostly a rehash of what was in the film, though it was cool to see the Actors speak about it. I was concerned what Disney may do when Lucas sold the Star Wars franchise to them. My concerns are now allayed. It can be argued that Rogue One is the best of all the current Star Wars films. Thank you Disney. You have shown respect and care for the Characters, Mythology and longevity of Star Wars. You have set a high bar, and we will expect you rise to this level in the future. Rogue One - still for sale
I was shocked to discover Target and other dealers had discontinued the 3D version of Rogue One before I got around to ordering a copy. So I was overjoyed to find dealers on ebay who still carried it. It is the Target version with all the extras and I love it. Now if someone would just release Blue-Ray versions of the original trilogy (4, 5 & 6) and not Lucas' updated versions, I could finally retire my old Laser Disc copies and I'd truly be in heaven.I was shocked to discover Target and other dealers had discontinued the 3D version of Rogue One before I got around to ordering a copy.
