The storyline, the twists, and the artwork will keep you sucked into the pages time and time again. Watchmen was a piece of work that stepped out and tried what no other comic book did in it's time; drive suspense into the heart of the heroes as opposed to the victims. If you are a comic collector, don't be stupid enough to refuse getting this. If you just like mythology, graphic novels, complex and engaging stories, etc, this is a fantastic read for you. If you aren't a fan of comics, the suspense alone is enough to create a draw that no other has ... Awesome book that has made an impact on comic book culture. A must read.
Wow! Talk about one of the top ten grafic novel of all time. This book has a great story that will suck you in instantly. Even someone who isn't into comics will enjoy this book, and therefore makes a great gift for non-comic book readers. I highly recommend Watchmen if you haven't read it yet, and if you haven't, what are you waiting for?

The Watchmen watch over vigilantes. Appropriate title.
It has a good storyline but is very disturbing and far out. Retired masked costume heros have conflicts with corrupt New York minds which causes lots of violence. I do not recommend this book to children under the age of 13. I decided to purchase this book because I heard it was one of the greatest graphic novels of all time which I do agree with.
