Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely ... Great idea to have for reference.
Very informative, accurate, and concise. More illustrations would sometimes be nice, but that would be contrast to it's compact-as-possible format, which seems intended. I thought Hayne's overall organizational format, though traditional to the genre perhaps; unusual at first, but it has an extensive index, and it is relatively easy to get familiar with. Overall, a good book to have in my collection.Very informative, accurate, and concise.
