    I thought that it would be cool to own the first season or The Simpsons and I am glad that I bought it.

    There is no way I can draw this animation. The Simpsons cannot be copied.

    Top 5 Cartoon of All-Time

    A must have for anyone who loves the Simpsons. The first episode when they get Santa's Little Helper from the dogtrack is a classic. The first season isn't as good as later years, but it's good for it's time. I own this season, and watch it from time to time to compare with how the series grew, because it's somewhat caveman-ish (characters look kind of funny at times, and I don't know if Homer was played by a different voice, but he sure sounds funny on the first season) compared to what we see of the Simpsons now. But it's still one of the best cartoons, and Simpsons fans should love this first season along with subsequent seasons. It keeps getting better every season.

    The Simpsons The Complete First Season

    It took me a long time to finally watch this show my friend talked me into watching it and this show is awesome. The Simpsons have been around for decades and are still going I bet Matt Groening did not think that his show would last that long, by the time I get to season 30 they will be on season 50 lol. This is one of those shows that becomes a household name Most people have seen this awesome show, then there are people like me that know of it and have not watched it I have seen bits and pieces of it on TV but I don’t think I’ve seen a full episode until now. Matt Groening made a great and successful show and I hope he keeps it going.     Where It All Began

    I don't think at this point anymore is there enough room in these reviews to truly capture what Simpsons has given to this world. But, like my title says, this is where it all began. (As far as TV series and DVDs of the Simpsons goes). The very first Season of the Simpsons set the bar extremely high for all other animated shows on DVD, with numerous behind the scene featurettes, commentaries, bonuses galore, and everything else any fan of the Simpsons could ever want. Without the Simpsons we would have no Family Guy, American Dad, or Southpark. This is a MUST BUY for any casual to diehard Simpsons fan.
