    Everything it was advertised as. I’m a retro game collector, but I was looking for a “play around” console where I can actually play my beloved Pokémon games. This 2DS is fully loaded with Pokémon ROMs and I could not be happier with my purchase. An absolute treasure for anyone who values the 1-7 generations of Pokémon games. Not to mention the complimentary case and screen protector? A true top-line product. Frankly, I owe these folks to give them a near-500 word review; I’m that happy here!

    Fun, but without the wow-factor of other Nintendo handhelds.

    The 2D is definitely a good alternative to the 3DS, and shares the same library as it, making it just as much a great handheld console as the original. The main downside is that shape isn't very ergonomic, I found my wrist hurting tremendously after about 15mins of playing Mario Kart. On top of that, it has the lighthearted and fun feel of a typical Nintendo handheld, but without the usual sense of glamour. There is just something about it that isn't really convincing. Even as the 'discount option', it still doesn't help that it doesn't feel very exciting to play. I might suggest you shell out the extra cash for the 2DS XL, or else any of the 3DS products, if you were interested in purchasing something in the lineup. If you really don't mind the product itself, then the 2DS is a great ...

    Battery is long-lasting, product itself is entertaining and the available games keep me busy and satisfied.

    This product works great. Battery lasts for hours, a reasonable amount of time. The games are fun, especially the original Pokemon games. Brings all sorts of nostalgia back and memories to reflect on. Games from back then are as fun as ever and they work great on the Nintendo 2DS. I got everything I wanted out of this. It did not disappoint.

    Broken/chipped charge port

    The port where you charge the 2DS is chipped so it's not possible for the system to charge. The system didn't come with a charger, so I didn't know. After I buy an SD card and a charger, I start to play the system and then I notice this when I try to charge it up with the new charger that I just bought for it. I know the charger works & that's not the problem because I have another 2DS and It works fine with my 2DS. I Basically threw an overall of $40 out of the window.
