Product Information

FullMetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel is an action role-playing game that follows the adventures of two brothers: Edward Elric, a gifted young alchemist who is missing an arm and a leg, and Alphonse Elric, whose spirit was transferred to a powerful suit of armor when his whole body was compromised. The two boys were maimed when performing a forbidden ritual to return their lost mother to life, and now they quest to find the powerful magic stone that can restore their own bodies. Combat occurs in real-time, though good strategy before a fight can make all the difference; Edward can use his powers to transmute ordinary objects into powerful weapons, and it's always good to be prepared in the unpredictable urban and interior environments the boys must traverse. The game is based on a Japanese animated television series, which could be seen on the Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" at the time of the game's release.

    Excellent game with original voice actors!

    This is set between the time Edward Elric and his brother lose their mother and the rise of all 7 Homunculus. Great story.

    FMA & the Broken Angel

    As a fan of the show I had to try the game out. The gameplay is decent, no real problems yet, still early on though. I have had some issues with camera angles, but that can be adjusted using the right control stick. So far it is a good game, but as I said I am still early on it it. Not too bad of a story so far, wish there was more cinematics and less of the pics of the characters with text at the bottom of the screen. Also wish you could play as Al and use ED as an ancilliary character. If you are an FMA fan you should get a kick out of the game.

    Awsome

    This was a great game for FMA enthusiest. great use of alchemy altho it was bery limiting. the camera caontrols did not allow you to choose from inverted to normal so for those who arent use to it like me its a bit of a challenge to get used to it. over all it was a great game with awsome animations and footage, the only thing that would have made it better woulda been if the diloge was voiced. but i give it an 8 out of 10.

    Great game for FMA fans and gaming fans alike.

    I purchased Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel for the PS2 some weeks ago. As an FMA fan, it was a must have, although this game is a load of fun for everyone. This game has simple controls, wonderful graphics, and features the original voices from the anime. Fans of FMA will be happy with the ability to transmute objects into weapons or decoys. The game has several animated clips that move the story along. The only draw back to this game is the amount of non-animated talk screens. Some of the talk is essential for game play but a good deal of it could be done with out. It takes a while to actually get to the game play. Overall, It's a great game that I feel everyone can enjoy.

    Fullmetal Alchenist & the braken angel PS2

    Loved playing it, but didn't like not being able to look around some areas. I have always liked being able to look around areas/environments, even if there is nothing there to find. I enjoyed the various battle areas, and the many options allowed for weapons. Not only can you choose from an assortment of weapons, but you can change the affects of the weapons, by adding elemants you find. It was very true to the show. If you enjoyed Full metal alcheimist, you will enjoy the game. All in all I would say it is well worth your hard earned dollar. I give it a 9 stars out of 10 stars.
