    Jack White is Brilliant

    Worth every penny!

    I decided to buy this CD because I was going to a Stripes concert & figured I'd better brush up on all the lyrics prior to going. I was familiar with some of the songs on the CD but certainly not all of them, & I was pleasantly surprised to hear what was in store for me! I now own all The Stripes CD's & this is one of my most listended to CD's! On it is a luscious mix of soul penetrating sounds & lyrics, whether it's track #9 "We're going to be friends" which without much work quickly transports me back to my chldhood years so-much-so that I can just about feel the warmth of the elementary school classroom I once sat in as a child. Or perhaps track #7 "The Union Forever", which has strategically placed drum strokes entwined in, over & around soft but electrifying rifts of Jack's guitar & ...

    Addicting music and singing

    I cannot stop listening to a White Stripes album once i start listening to it. The songs are better than tv, better than listening to books on tape. When i have household or computer chores to perform, i like to listen to this or any White Stripes album. Alas, the brother and sister White may not be performing together any more, but a body of work exists for us to attain and enjoy.
