This is not a well-made crown. Ordered 2 just in case one was defective. Both received are identical, so the fault is actually with the crown itself. Typical seiko screwdown crowns should give 1.8mm of compressed travel. These however, only give 1mm of compressed travel (see pics). So either they do not screw down all the way to the bottom, or you cut the stem so short it fowls the case tube threads when winding. The crown also has a keyed spline, so it sometimes gets jammed when unscrewing.
