About this product

Product Information

For Gemma Alcott, daughter of business tycoon Burgess T. Alcott, III, the summer of 1929 is a season for picnics, sailing parties, and romance. But life becomes difficult when the Alcott wealth is lost in the Wall Street crash known as Black Tuesday. Gemma and her younger sister, Melody, are suddenly destitute. In their time of need, Kace Morgan, a distant relative appears and Gemma realizes she still has choices. But can she handle the loss of all she has known and a new life that is far from the sheltering wealth she has grown up with? Wednesday's child might have woe, but life is never so dark that God cannot deliver His own into paths of light. Book 3 in the series.

I received the "The Incredible Discovery of Noah's Ark" book on 8 December 2023 early within the original eBay estimated delivery date of 7-12 December 2023 tightly wrapped in a poly mailer slightly different than the listing page description with some damage to the spine and pages of the book. After messaging the seller I was generously refunded 50% of the book price. The book is intact with full content. This seller made extra efforts to make this a satisfactory purchase. Thank You!

Sharlotte Ashford is surrounded by wealth and prestige--until the 1929 Crash when her father mysterously disappears after going West to try to re-establish the family fortune. As the cold winter decends, Sharlotte realizes her life is now filled with woe, and can't help remembing the suitor, Kace Landry whom she had once rejected as beneath her social status. He had loved her one brief summer when she was visiting relatives in Texas. When Kace reappears with news of her father, she hopes he will be willing to help her and forgive her for the past. This story also has adventure from New England to untamed wilds of the West. It shows how God can humble a proud socalite and place her on a path of ...
