It's like taking a punch to the gut every time you get into your car!
This unit has too many problems with the Iphone interface and the lower hard buttons, which seem to work when they want and sometimes do what they want. For instance, I turned on my unit and it started to play fine but when I decided that I wanted a little more volume and pushed the volume up button (blue lit hard button) it maxxed the volume instantly and would not let me turn it down or off. I had to pull over off the road and turn the ignition off to make it stop. To my horror this only made it turn off. When I started my car and the unit came back on it still was full blast. I finally figured that the only way to solve this problem was to reset the unit by pressing the tiny little reset button on the lower left corner of the unit. I have come to find out that my problem is not a ... I sold a Pioneer unit with no problems to buy a crappy Kenwood product that almost destroyed my expensive car audio equipment! As of today, all of the bottom blue lit hard buttons do not work and if I did not have the remote for this unit to turn the volume up and down it would be useless. As of today I cannot watch dvd's on the unit because there is not an eject button on the screen while the dvd is playing and for kicks and giggles there is not an eject button on the remote either! What a piece of junk! I cant even power off the unit. It stays on all of the time, with the exception of the ignition being turned off!
