For small and medium sized businesses looking for a sturdy, high quality printer, the HP OfficeJet 6310 can be a fine choice. This all in one inkjet printer produces black and white text and graphics at 1200 x 1200 DPI resolution for clean, clear images. By changing the black ink cartridge out with an HP Photosmart ink cartridge, you get six colors instead of four, which magnifies the rich colors of your photos. Color images printed at 4800 x 1200 DPI resolution can yield lab quality results. With SD and USB slots built into the machine, you can also print directly from a memory card, digital camera, or camera phone without a wired connection.The OfficeJet is compatible with both PCs and Macs. For a PC, it requires an Intel Pentium II, 128 MB RAM, and 750 MB of free space. It works with Windows XP, Windows 98, 2000, or ME. A Mac computer needs at least a G4 processor, 128 MB RAM, and 400 MB free space. It can be easy to install the software and drivers for quick setup. When you have one of those larger jobs to complete, you can count on this machine for quick printing. It has an automatic document feeder that can handle up to 35 pages at once easily. An HP 98 black ink cartridges yield about 400 pages. The HP 95 tri-color ink cartridge yields 330 pages. The ink cartridges can be easy to change out by simply lifting up the top cover of the printer, removing the cartridges from the carriage, and inserting the new ink toner cartridge. The OfficeJet can handle a duty cycle of 3,000 pages. This printer's paper feed tray can hold 100 pages at a time. These printers accommodate both standard paper or legal size, providing plenty of flexibility depending on the job you need it to do. It can print 25 transparencies at a time. Additionally, it can handle 20 pages of labels or up to 10 envelopes at a time. Whether you are sending out family Christmas cards or cards to customers, it can print up to 40 at a time. Weighing only 17 pounds and featuring a compact design, you can conveniently move it among worksites. You can use the Ethernet and wireless networking capabilities that can handle demands from multiple computers with ease. The OfficeJet 6310 All-In-One Inkjet printer gives outstanding copies and yields 30 PPM of text or 24 PPM of color graphics and images. You can reduce the scale of a page to 25 percent of the original or increase the size up to 400 percent. The OfficeJet scanner can be used for a variety of things, including making a scan of important papers or copying a photo to your desktop. As a fax machine, this model can store and receive up to 100 pages of faxes. It has a built in memory of 64 MB that is capable of remembering up to 100 pages of faxes at three seconds per fax page. The OfficeJet 6310 All-In-One Inkjet Printer can print, send faxes, network, scan, and copy, which can make it the ultimate machine for a variety of jobs.

    LOve my 6310

    The product was sold as a fully reconditioned printer. Everything seems to be working fine BUT there seems to me a cranking sound occasionally as the printer carriage travels along its rail. So far, its only a slight occasional noise. For $ 225 I paid full retail as this is 6th 6310 I have owned in the last 10 years. I love the all in one printer, FAX, scanner, copier and because I get the reconditioned cartidges for cheap that work great from LD Products. One for Color and one for Black at about $ 9-10 per cartidge compared to much higher retail cost. I use it a lot. Just sayin....

    Good "old school" printer/copier/scanner.

    I have a 2007 emachine T5212 tower and have used the HP6310 all along. It is very difficult to keep it running properly. That is why I bought a second one. (for parts) The two-pack of HP ink is outrageously priced: $81.95 + tax for #95 & #98 ink! Overall I like it's performance. When the tower dies I will probably go wireless, but till then I will manage.

Besides media card slots, it comes with a USB port for PictBridge cameras, camera phones, or USB flash drives for PC-free photo printing.     Very good printer for the price

    This printer was purchased as a factory refurbished unit primarily because it was one of a very few printers which used the particular ink cartridges of which we had an oversupply after its' predecessor died. It is being used in a small business office and so far has performed very well. It's speed is not exceptional, but it was very easy to install on a network and the print quality and other features are very good.

    Hewlett Packard Officejet 6310

    This printer is efficient. It does all that it needs to do and works great. it has all the great features needed for a small home office. the scan quality is good and I love that it features both the flatbed scan and feed scan options. fax modem is decent speed and works as it should. Printing is as expected, nothing spectacular but it does what it needs to do and it is not bad at it. all in all a great all in one at a very decent price for a small home office. I do recommend this product.
