    Skins Series One in UK will make you hold your breath

    I am writing this review for people who have seen Skins USA season one and who are thinking about buying Skins UK series one. I know that Skins UK was made before Skins USA but I saw the USA version first so for me Tony Chris and Michelle in The US are the same as Tony Chris and Michelle in The UK version But Stanley in the US is Sid in the UK. Cadie in the US is Cassie in the UK. Abbud in the US is Anwar in the UK Tony's little sister Eura in the US is Tony's little sister Effie in the UK. Tea a lesbian girl in the US is Maxxie a gay boy in the UK. I never saw the USA version of the Tony episode but I think the versions are pretty similar. In UK version Tony tries to get Sid to lose his virginity. In episode two of Skins UK Cassie is a people pleaser with an eating disorder who likes ...

    I watched the American version first, and got so upset when they stopped after one season. My boyfriend who I started dating about a year after I had seen skins told me it was a knock off of a british version and they were currently making a sixth season of it. I was so happy I thought I would cry. There are slght differences but overall the same exact show. So happy to have this in my collection of movies 3

    Wish There Were More Episodes

    I can't believe people compare this with Gossip Girl. It's nothing like Gossip Girl. The kids from Skins actually look like teenagers, act like normal teenagers, and it's much better in many ways. Anyhow, I beiieve this is more like the UK version of degrassi, or something similar. This is a hilarious yet bitter-sweet drama and leaves you wanting more.
