A desk-jockey detective and his tough-talking partner get their moment to shine in this buddy police comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, and directed by Adam McKay (ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY, TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY). New York City detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell) is more comfortable pushing pencils than busting bad guys. A meticulous forensic accountant, his numbers are never off. Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg) is Gamble's reluctant partner. Try as Detective Hoitz might to get back on the streets, an embarrassing encounter with Derek Jeter has left a sizable black mark on his permanent record. Detectives Danson (Dwayne Johnson) and Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson) are the complete opposites of Gamble and Hoitz: unwaveringly confident, they always get their man, and they do it with style to spare. When the time comes for Gamble and Hoitz to prove their mettle and save the day, their incompetence becomes the stuff of legend.

    A great comedy

    Dwayne (the Rock) Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson are the top cops in the precienct, they handle all the best cases, get all the action and are the best cops on the force. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are "the other guys". While Johnson and Jackson are out fighting crime, Ferrell and Wahlberg are back at the office doing their paper work. After Johnson and Jackson die trying to capture some robbers "the other guys" spring into action to take their place and become the Top Cops. The movie is full of laughs, there are gags, great one liners and plenty of slap-stick action. Ferrell has his own comedy style that most people are familiar with and he doesn't miss a beat in this movie. Wahlberg is not known for comedy but he plays his role in this movie very well and at times even he is laugh ...

    MY FAVORITE MOVIE

    This movie is absolutely Hilarious, It is my favorite movie, and this purchase was a fantastic deal, not only do you get a blue ray, as well as the regular DVD, But it also has the unrated version, and the theatrical version,plus it was brand new and the price is unbeatable :)

    Really Good Laughs!

    This is exactly what you would expect from a Will Farrell movie, except its not a bomb like some of his other films. It has a good cast and a pretty decent storyline too. The ones liners are hilarious too!
