I received the "The Incredible Discovery of Noah's Ark" book on 8 December 2023 early within the original eBay estimated delivery date of 7-12 December 2023 tightly wrapped in a poly mailer slightly different than the listing page description with some damage to the spine and pages of the book. After messaging the seller I was generously refunded 50% of the book price. The book is intact with full content. This seller made extra efforts to make this a satisfactory purchase. Thank You!

  • Excellent resource... sometimes a little impractical

Excellent book, although I have to say that I am left with the distinct impression that the author has no tollerance for my real-life bicycle use. Bikes, according to this book, seem to be made more for keeping clean and functional than actually functioning. Funny, really. Also, there are very few or no solutions or suggestions that don't involve spending a lot of money. If you are a recreational rider trying to keep your bike in good shape, probably look for another book... The book is for people who have a lot of time and money to invest in expensive bicycles. However, I did find the book very eductaional for that one day that I might have the funds to buy a really nice bike.

  • Love this book!

I have been using this book over the past 10 years. It's time to get the newest edition. I use it for reference often and also it's a great way to see how things work on a bike. I am not too technically inclived when it comes to todays complex road bike. But I use this repair guide to first look into how to fix something. Once I know what is involved, I can then make a judgement on whether I should attempt to do the repair or have a professional tackle it. This is an essential bicycle repair book for everyone. Very easy to read and the photos/illustrations help. Recommended - which ever edition it may be!

  • Great Book!

Whether you are a serious cyclist or just a weekend warrior this book would be very useful. Covers everything from basic tire maintenance and air pressure all the way up to more advanced topics to tweaking a bike for professionals. With many large photos it is easy to read and could save you money by doing basic repairs yourself. Certainly the cost of the book will be returned to you by the savings you will enjoy by dong the basic repairs and maintenance outlined in this book.

  • Very good buy...

This text was very thorough, covering all repairs and maintenance of modern cyles, road, mountaIn ect... Easy to understand no matter what your mechanical ability. Easy to follow and easy to reference. I find this text extremly usefull. Myself, I used to work on cycles back in the seventies, and now just getting back into sevicing new bikes, and restoring older bikes, and can use all the help I can get...

  • The Bicycling Guide to Complete Bicycle Maintenance & R

A must have for anyone with a bicycle and a little mechanical ability. Lots of pictures to help guide you through the procedures. Very good index, easy to find the area you need to work on. Covers old and new types of equipment and accessories. Good section on adjusting saddle. Lots of detail but not overly technical and does not focus on one type of bike/rider over another. If you are planning on doing your own up keep on your bicycle this book will be a tremendous asset.
