    One of the best recorders ever made.

    These were one of the best Freeview recorders ever made. The editing capabilities are second to none. Build quality is outstanding, however you must remember these are now quite an old machine so buy carefully.

    Very happy with purchase

    Been using this for a couple of months now and very happy with purchase. This may be a discontinued model but unlike more recent models this has a quick dub. Yes, QUICK! I dubbed a two hour show in twenty minutes. The restrictions in older models means that though they say it had quick dubbing, pretty much anything you try to do is in real time. Again, very happy with the product.

    Sony RDR-HXD890 160 GB DVD / HDD Recorder

    Being Sony you would expect a very good product. In my view this item excels in quality and ease of use even a child could manage to record and copy from hard drive to dvd disk. If HDMI connection is used to connect to your tv the picture on playback is high definition. Brillient
